Using a new line in rich text box

Posted 24 July 2009 - 09:24 PM

Hey everyone, i was wondering if i could get some assist in this project im working on in my free time, here is a title bit of code i made to split the news information i get from my website and have it written to this rich text box i have up. however, it does not split the newLine's of each line of the news information to it's own AddChat line. Could you possibly point out the problem here? or some solutions.

'Get the current News
rtNews = InetNews.OpenURL("http://url-link.com/the-txt-file.txt")

'Split each News line to a new addchat
splitNews = Split(rtNews, vbCrLf)

	For Each newline In splitNews
		AddChat vbYellow, "[News] ", vbGreen, newline
	Next

Thanks a lot guys.

Are you sure it is not splitting? Are you sure it is vbCrLf and not vbCr or vbLf?

Good Luck
