If my mom/dad/best friend tell me I should vouch for that person, I will because people that are that close to me know that when you're vouching for someone you're putting your neck on the line, so they'll never tell me vouch for someone in who's skills they aren't sure of.

If I need to vouch for a family member (close friends ARE family too) and I know they suck at the job I would still vouch for them just because they mean more to me then some job. Even though I would do it a close friend like that would never put me in that position anyway.

She's not talking about those people, she's talking about them asking her to do a reference for somebody they know, but that she may not.

My answer "No way in hell." If I do not know them it is putting my reputation on the line. Let me tell you it's about my survival. I would love to help people I know who deserve it. If you are someone I don't know let me get to know you and if it pans out I would love to help.
