Multiple forms in one Application

Post icon  Posted 28 July 2009 - 04:46 AM

Hi there. This question isn't related to any code as such, but rather the formation of an app in Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition.

Is it possible to make an app where, for example, I will make one form which will have buttons linking to a number of other forms which take the place of the first form?

To use a bad example to illustrate what I mean, where it will be like reaching the load game screen in Pokemon on Gameboy; I have multiple options that will all lead me to a new form (in the same window).

How do I do this?

I only, as of yet have experience with Windows Forms Application, not Class Libraries, WPF Applications etc. While you're there, can you explain what these other things do?

Thank you very much in advance.

Yes you can, by using show() and hide() for example.. Mdi would be better if you want multi forms.
