Funniest request for help of the day

Posted 30 July 2009 - 05:37 AM

Ok, first of all, apologies in case this is inapropriate. Feel free to close the thread.

Anyways, I'm sure most of you run into requests that make you laugh, be it just another 'give me teh codez' post.

Let's see them!

Quote

please give me the code.we require it for industry purpose and we need it urgently

http://www.dreaminco...topic117567.htm

If it's for the industry, why not just hire someone to do it? And come on, how difficult is this anyways.. (Advanced)

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

haha, yea i already posted the rules on that thread..there are a lot of funny requests..i've seen some people saying stuff like "please give me java command to make a chat room"..also once there was this guy who said that he is a tutor at a university teaching "pseudo code" and he wanted someone to convert a pseudo code to java code so he can show it to his students :D..how retarded is that??

Haahahaaahahaahaahaahah!!

Good laugh for today. Gloin, nice find. :^:

I thought taking strings and splitting it up into words is just another assignment in university's syllabus. Have no idea that the industry would need it too. :P

I thought this one was pretty amusing.

http://www.dreaminco...topic117357.htm

It's the second time he has posted the same 'problem', and the example he uses is one I gave him in his original post for it.

edit:
Then again, this one is better:

Oh man, these are so good.

So while we're on the topic, what do you think we should do with these in the future? We've been discussing taking a more hardline approach for these types of posts. Think we should leave the threads open and offer assistance, or just close them and leave a canned reply?
