Piss off the person next to you
Posted 01 August 2009 - 12:39 AM
I know almost all of us would really like to pull a prank on the person using the computer next to you (through use of code, of course!
).

Dialup to a modem, conference on the handshake while they are away. Fill up their voice mail.
Take a snapshot of their desktop (on Win XP), save the image. Right click the desktop -> properties, change the background to the new image, right click desktop -> arrange icons by -> uncheck display icons. Watch them struggle.
cntrl + alt + down-arrow.

When he/she turns around, unplug mouse & keyboard discreetly
Make a fake VC# or VB.net virus alert (Have a Delete Virus button that shows a message box "Virus could not be removed" ) and stick it in
C:/Documents and Settings/Victim/Start Menu/Startup/ at the end of the day (has to look real). Next morning watch them FREAK! (I've done it. FUN FUN FUN!!)

You can also do the fake ie icon that will shutdown the computer after 30 seconds. Be sure to add in a nice message telling them they have a virus.

You can setup a scheduled task to send a net message to localhost every minute.

Depending on what kind of typist the person is, you can either rearrange their keys on the keyboard or remap their keyboard. Hunt & peck you would need to rearrange the keys, standard typist you would need to remap the keyboard. I'll leave it up to google on how to do that.
Good thing about remapping the keyboard, they're not going to fix it easily as it's not common knowledge.

Install a program that moves the icons around the desktop as the mouse pointer gets near them.
