Thought I would introduce myself, seeing as dream in code were good enough to send me a link to this forum.
I'm from the UK, recently graduated from University with a 2.1 in Computer Studies. My main focus was multimedia/web design with strong emphasis on the programming side.
Currently out of work but hoping to get a job working with Flash/Director or certainly along those lines, something where I can use my programming abilities and develop them further.
I'll finish this post now as I have to get back to coding some Java for someone so hi to everyone at dream in code.

hey crash, i really like the work you got going down on your personal site, when you get some content up and feel comfortable enough to do it, i would throw a link to that in the site check and you could probably get some pretty decent feedback on it.

Cheers, will do that, got so many things to do right now I don't have too much time to get on with it right now.
I've been through several revisions, the first was really fancy but when I looked at the CPU usage through task manager it was very unhealthy
which was really annoying cos I spent ages playing around with it.
You could have look at the prototype for a mate's portfolio as well, only the start but he seems to be impressed!
Davemation prototype
Once I can actually get something in there I'll put it up on the sitecheck and see what ppl reckon.

Thanks for the compliments on the flash, I must get that thing finished if I'm ever gonna get it sent to ppl on cd-rom.
My main strengths with flash are the technical things, like programming and making it actually work, I've never been that great at visual design so my designs tend to be basic, bit on the minimalist side, though now and again I can come up with something that looks nice, but I'm definitely like that bloke you see down in the guts of the ship, knocking crap out of the engines to make them run smoothly.
Call me Scotty
