Spelling error in Admin Page

Posted 01 August 2009 - 04:08 PM

In PyschoCoder's bio in the page where the admins are introduced, there is a spelling error.

"15 years now He now thinks, eats, breaths and yes, Dreams.In.Code"

Can you see it?

It's not breaths, it's breathes.

Just thought I'd point it out. The admin's deserve to look professional.

Is this really a major issue. Maybe just a PM will do it :)

The link to one of the pages containing the bio is here.

A few other grammatical errors too (eg. no2pencil's bio, "age of 11, his parents brought home" shouldn't have the comma). Like firebolt said, it might not be that important, but I just thought I'd lay out the heads up in case the admins wanted to fix it. Personally, I think the admins deserve a good look for all the work they do.

OK I might as well list the other 3 problems:
  • 1lacca - "He has a beautiful daugther" -> daughter, not daugther.
  • born2c0de - little he realise his -> should be "little did he realise
  • born2c0de - ears,playing Cricket,Basketball,his -> needs spaces

Done. My obsessive compulsiveness can rest easy.

I require more commas because I rock, hard.

I notice all kinds of things like that too, CheckersW. It bugs me, too. But I don't usually say anything because people don't like being corrected (most of the time). Also because I've been known to make my share of mistakes as well.

I even see an error in a sentence you posted:
"age of 11, his parents "
That looks like his parents were 11.

But you know what he means, so leave it alone.

Fair enough. I apologize that it came across as me pointing out mistakes. I was really trying to make the admin pages look more professional, because as far as I'm concerned, they deserve it.
