I play games on consoles and PC for like ever. I started play game before I could speak english. My first mario game was in the late 90 on Nintendo 8 bit machine. First time I played was from evening until 2am. Now I have all the consoles in the market and own few popular PC titles.

So when people ask me what do I do for fun. I respond like hanging with buddies, movie, outdoor etcc, then I add playing video grames. Every one that asks me after hearing my respond always asks me, you're still playing games. You are old already. Ok I'm 28yearsold, but I don't think playing game has nothing to do with age, righ?

I recall when a giant box sporting a CRT, a few buttons, sometimes a joystick, and a rudimentary sound set, hit the arcades. It was Space Invaders and it decimated the pinball industry overnight. People stood in line to play the thing. Anyone who remembers this is young enough to be a video game junkie.

I'm 22 myself, but the guys at my work are 30+ and all we talk about are video games, movies and code. It's just a case of who your with and it just so happens video gamers, programmers and geeks in general are a minority in society so you'll find it hard finding friends that have similar tastes. So, yeah, it's normal for people to think your a bid odd for still playing games. It's fine to do though, as long as your happy with what your doing.
