ok what makes linux better? a friend told me it would be ideal if i wanted to start programming so i tried it but idk (i didnt spend much time on it lol ) why do people say its so much better? (and why is linux fuzzy? instead of nice and clear like windows?)

Nothing is better. It all depends on what is the main purpose of your activities.
Take a look in the Corner Cubicle forum for similar threads - we've had a bunch of those in the past months.
I am going to close this one because I am pretty sure it will cause flaming, since a Linux user will defend Linux, and a Windows user will defend Windows.
