How can I make timer for Events or actions ...

Hi....
I am a beginner in vb.net .. and I want to make a timer .. which control events ... or actions .. how can i write it's code ...
FoeExample : if I want my computer to shutdown in 3:30 AM , or any other action of my program ... How can I write the code .. ?

Look up Timers and use the timer tick to compare Now to the time you are looking for then do the action you want.

Well I guess you'll be wanting to write code in the "Timer Tick" event (be that changing the value of a label or textbox with each tick, or executing an action).

I recommend going through the tutorials and code snippets for information on clocks (for your 3:30AM) and timers. They're full of great tutorials and how-to guides for beginners like you and me.
