open file in notepad

hi guys.
i have a little problem, i have to define path in aa, but after i start the program, error >cannot find the aa.txt file
dim aa as string
aa = App.Path & "\data\log.txt"

Dim dTaskID As Double
dTaskID = Shell("Notepad aa", vbNormalFocus) 

please help me
i'm begginer please write simply

Make sure the text file is located in the same folder as your .frm, .vpw etc...

just a small change

dim aa as string
aa = App.Path & "\data\log.txt"

Dim dTaskID As Double
dTaskID = Shell("Notepad " +aa , vbNormalFocus)
