HoOoly shit, that is awesome. ...

Especially the:

Quote

"When we injected fetal liver cells taken from those animals into ordinary mice, they too gained the power of regeneration. We found this persisted even six months after the injection."

EDIT: Great find, you made my day.

That is sweet; I hope it's not too many decades before they perfect it for humans. Just imagine how much the average life span would go up (which brings new problems, but whatever)!

Made my day, too. B) :D

Yeah, I'm interested to see how you can regrow a heart;

I can see regrowing a limb or something, but how the mice sustain themselves while they regrow a heart? lol

unless the heart has just been injured or something, but not to the point where it fails

[Admin Edit: Let's try to limit the direct references to race on the forums as we do have several members that I'm sure would have been offended by that]

Just as a reminder to everyone... we do try to keep it PG-13'ish in the lounge. And we have an obligation to our advertisers to keep racial, and obscene content off pages they advertise on.

So let's take a few more seconds before we hit that ole' reply button to make sure we aren't crossing the line.
