outputting to a printer in C++

Can you show me how to output something to a printer in C++. I'm just beginning so please just show me the statements as simple as possible.

What are you trying to accomplish? You can output to a text file and then call a command to print that text file etc.. Show some code next time you post or you won't receive any assistance.

It will also depend on the operating system and how the printer is connected the computer (network or directly to LPT1)
