KSL is a language that may seem very diffrent at first but I assure you that it will offer many things other languages dont, it especially focuses on making it easier to display graphics how you want and quickly, it is meant for creating games mainly RPGs, considering its built in inventory battle features.
Karma Shop 2010 Beta 0.1 will come loaded with the KSL.net 0.3 language. We are aiming for the first beta to be released by christmas and the first full version to be released by spring. The help file will be very large becuase I want it to be clear how to code from the begining.

So yeah, you want me to make a extension for Open Studio? I just updated the source code to allow custom designers for custom languages....

if ur image editor is better than gimp, i'd like to see it. i'd better you wait for us to judge it as we nigerians say nobody says his mother's soup is sour
what language are u using to write it. hurry up on the screenshots. its good u want to make it free

im writing it with C#, we have done almost nothing UI wise yet, we are still working on the parser and code generater for the language, so srry no screenshots, all we have are examples of what it will look like drawn on paper.

it is not abyssent.com.
and we are juggling alot of things right now so the audio and image editors arnt the main concerns at the moment.

srry i havnt been on in a little while, been kinda busy. im workin hard on everything but we ran into a problem involving the parser. :(
anyway I will post when we have our first release, may I add that this no project just for expirience or to put on on a reseme, this is a serious project that we plan to end up making money from! There also have been changes involving the syntax so that people that have already learned other languages can get used to it quicker, it has a slightly more python like syntax with a hint of C# inspiration.

Just to get this right.. you think RM is limited? it even says it's not in its help file. It runs of ruby and built in modules thereofre you can do anything in it. i have seen MMO's, FPS and Adventure games. But sure if you want to call it limited, i suppose it is, since you would have to know allot of ruby to make a diffrent type of game in RM.


But i say good luck to you. and i look forward to seeing this at the first relase. And if it's as good as you make it out, then i'll probably think of buying it.

GIMP is OS, why not just ask the authors if you can stitch it into your program? It's probably better then anything you're going to make (sorry) and it would save time.
