Web Browser cannot play youtube videos?

Post icon  Posted 23 August 2009 - 08:17 PM

I use VB 2008 and the problem is that my web browser (super simple) cannot view youtube videos because it says either java is turned off or the latest flashplayer isn't installed.

not sure if this matters but IE can play youtube videos, it has java, it has flashplayer etc all my browsers can play youtube videos so why can't this one and how can I enable it to play em?

VB 2008 is not VB6. Moved to VB.NET :)

I'm getting the same thing on someone's 64-bit Vista machine.

I suspect it's a Java permission problem, as the app works fine on any Win XP / Vista 32 bit confusers
