I would use SourceForge. :) (opinion-based: most likely because I haven't spent that much time with codeplex)

yes you must add the dll`s you use. VB6 got it is own publisher (i dont like it) you can use it by clicking start menu -> all programs -> microsoft visual studio 6.0 -> microsoft visual studio 6.0 tools -> Package & Deployment Wizard

I didn't use any .DLLs i only used components

well even datagrid have a OCX file in your windows\system32\ folder. for example Microsoft DataGrid Control 6.0 use an ocx Windows\system32\MSDATGRD.OCX
witch the user may not have in any case you will need to make the user to copy them as the publisher make it him self

Well i just used the package and deploy program to make a set up of my project but it didnt add my .mdb file or my .mp3 file so if possible i want to use winrar. the components i used were ActiveSkin 4.3 & WindowsMediaPlayer, can't i copy them into the winrar. isn't there an easier way??

that's what I did when I encountered the problem you are having now.

Just because we don't had dll in our course that time.

nope. It creates tables in the database of that computer if not present already.

PS : That's what I thought about your problem.
