Greeting!

Posted 27 August 2009 - 12:09 PM

Greetings everyone!

I'm Noebian and I'm obviously new here :P

I started programming about 10 years ago on my little Commodore 64, then moved on to Win 98-2000
where I started using QBasic (Didn't have Visual Basic yet back then).

After a while I needed a little break and started gaming (for a few years :P) and now I want to start programming again,
this time in VB.NET, so I'll have alot to learn since its been a looong time and VB.NET isn't quite like QBASIC (thank god for LearnVisualStudio.net and the VS Express editions :D)

I found this site while I was searching for tutorials and decided to register here :)
One thing I know for sure, I'll be spending alot of time in the VB.NET Tutorial section! :P

Anyways, time to write some code... you'll probably hear from me soon B)

Hi and welcome to Dream.In.Code!

I hope that you enjoy your stay here. There are many excellent forums here at </DIC> that you can ask for help in and give help to others.

If you are posting a question please make sure that it is in the right forum. Then please make sure to post your code in tags like this :code:. Doing this will help us help you.

I hope that we can answer any of your programming or web development questions and if you can, answer the questions of others.

Regards,

Jamie

PS I started programming in BASIC as well, but that was 30 years ago actually. (Now I feel old again!) I had C64 as well and did quite a lot with it. VB.NET is a huge leap from BASIC. Good luck with your programming adventures. :)
