New Years

Posted 31 December 2001 - 01:17 PM

So what are you doing for New Years Eve? Granted most of you arent in eastern standard time so its still pretty early (uh, i think) but for us east coasters its some time in the afternoon and preparations have begun /evil grin.

I'm sure you're all a bunch of party animals ready to 'get your freak on' (i feel nauseous just typing that). Well with the exception of a few lu5ers who'll be posting the night away (er, i hope not for your sake) give us your new years plans here.

meh, i dunno what i'll be doing either. Prolly just hang out w/ some friends, nothing earth shattering. i think NYE's have gone down hill ever since the over hyped 2k new years eve. Who knows, maybe the apocoplypse was two years off and Dick Clark will rip off his mask and reveal himself to be the anti-christ.

I will be going down to a friends house, spinning a few reco's, marinating as chris would say and generally chillin with some ladies.  Not much going on in this state, unless your 21+! Oh well, maybe next year.

hehe, for me, at the moment it's already an hour in the year 2002. The champagne, pisang and amaretto are a sign to stay at home but …!
Maybe? Let's listen what my girlfriend says!

Oh and I forgot to mention, My family every year has this stuff called Bonyacowda (I don't know how to really spell it, it's Italian).  It's Butter, Olive Oil, Garlic and Anchovies (but it's not fishy just salty) all melted and cooked in a pot and then you take meat and veggies and cook them in the oil and eat them on good bread. It's hella fattening so we only have it once a year, but we ALWAYS have it. I think they have been doing it since like 1972 or something.

i'm still sick, so i'll keep whoever company here. well, i'll prolly watch the telly for a while, too.

remember 2 years ago when all the computers in the world were supposed to stop working and we would all become scavengers and warriors in a dry, desert world? lol... what a crock. my POS computer that i had last year was purchased when they came preinstalled with Windows 3.1, and it survived. lol

and last year? well that was the ACTUAL beginning of the new millenium, for those who can do the simple math. 2001 was robbed, shtraight up.
