Ah... yes I can.

This seems more like a Computer Support & Operating Systems question.

Did you cntrl F5 to refresh the site?

If that still doesn't work, check nslookup to make sure it's resolving correctly.

Isn't this what the conficker virus was doing? whatever happened with that virus?

Can you access any other anti virus site? i.e Norton, Avast, AVG, Kaspersky?

Not just conflicker, a lot of viruses & malware are running DNS hijacks. That's why I asked if nslookup resolved correctly (even though you didn't answer)

Not likely, but lets check your host file :

start -> run -> notepad c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS

This file should ONLY have 127.0.0.1 localhost in it. If it has anything else delete everything after 127.0.0.1 localhost save it, start -> run -> cmd.exe -> enter & type ipconfig /flushdns

Then try the nslookup again.

here is file text
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

127.0.0.1 localhost

In my experience, removing a DNS hijack is not easy.

I've had success using stop zilla, however it's not a free program (though it's only $9.99), & it requires you to download it during the install. So you'll need to download it from a working pc onto a thumbdrive or something.

Good luck, these things can be a pain. If you can next time try and keep your torrents on a separate computer than you work computer, if your not already doing that. It keeps your work computer clean.

...or you could not download torrents at all. As you can see, nothing is ever truly free.

But then again, it's this kind of internet garbage that keeps my business going :D :^:
