It sounds like you are truly fighting with yourself over this issue, as if your insides are being ripped apart from the stress of such an important life altering descision. What ever will you do!?!

On another note, thousands of people in the Galveston and Houston area may die this weekend if this huge category 5 hurricane pounds in to them.

Guess what, I unplugged myself from that system. Matrix style.

I figured, "shoot dude, I have a website and the only people I really care to share information with are friends and family."

EFF MYSPACE!

I set up a Myspace profile about a year and a half ago and haven't really used it. On the other hand, I have several friends that use it daily and are addicted to it. They blog constantly about their feelings/thoughts and have met some really cool people in their area, as well as some really strange ones.

I guess it depends what your motives are for getting involved with it. It's not like its a huge commitment. Try it out...if you don't like it, move on. What do you have to lose? :)

i like to think of myspace as an online version of highschool. Nobody actually cares who their friends are, they just want as many friends as they can get. it never ceases to amaze me how many people on myspace are in the middle of an identity crisis. from the anti-christ members all the way up to the varsity girls and the beverly hill's guys. I have yet to see the myspace homepage without a picture of some douchebag flexing for the camera, a random whore with a "princess" t-shirt on, or a closeup of some kid with black eye makeup.

as for the blogging...

Blog~n. - A meandering, blatantly uninteresting online diary that gives the author the illusion that people are interested in their stupid, pathetic life. Consists of such riveting entries as "homework sucks" and "I slept until noon today." -http://www.urbandictionary.com

to tell you the truth i could really care less what a bunch of 15 year old asshats have to think of me and my life. and for those of us who are 30+ and use myspace...you can't rape the willing i suppose.

i think blog actually stands for web log? meaning something that goes on the WORLD WIDE WEB. if you want to keep a journal, go to walgreens and by a $0.10 notebook. blogs are indeed intented for the general public.

it wouldn't be free speech then would it? as only you and a select few could read it.

if i remember correctly, the owner of this very site, and a few of the admins have an account on myspace. but you're probably right, they know nothing.
