Opera Unite

Posted 05 September 2009 - 12:48 PM

Hello,
What do you think about opera unite.

Well i think it will give products that already exist more of a presence.

I think having these features in one place will help us grow the internet.

http://unite.opera.com/

do you think as it claims stop the middle men and server people controling us.

I can't see that happening any time soon.

What do you think :D

As I see, they are actually not introducing anything new. Everything in their services catalog is already used in various domains.

Personally, I don't see a problem with my applications and other components hosted on a remote server for others to access it. I can actually see many benefits in that, compared to the presented "one-man sharing".

As of your privacy concerns, the ISP can monitor all the incoming/outgoing traffic, no matter whether it is generated by a remote server or by an individual.
