There is a product called Net60. I am not sure if you can work with it on N-series phones, but you surely can develop .NET apps (in the scope of Compact Framework) on S60 devices. The problem with Nokia devices in this case is that these devices run SymbianOS, and it needs a third-party .NET runtime (since Microsoft releases the mobile .NET runtime only for Windows Mobile devices).

This link contains a reference to a booklet in pdf form that describes how to get started using the .NET framework on Symbian OS.
