image tag

sir/friend
when i write the <img>tag and open it with mozilla firefox it didn't show any image and when i tried it with internet explorer it always shows image
whats the difference??
<img src="C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures\Sample Pictures\sunset.jpg"></img>

Firefox doesn't understand local image paths in that format. Plus you don't need a close tag for the img tag. Try the following...

<img src="file:///C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Pictures\Sample Pictures\sunset.jpg"/>



Here we are telling it to use a local file by specifying the "file" protocol. You should always be using this format to link to local files.
