NEED HELP! Temperature Conversion (Flowchart)

Posted 09 September 2009 - 02:17 PM

I have no idea where to start but this is what i got so far: http://img215.images...chartpseud.png/

Problem: Draw a flowchart that converts the temperature in Celsius to Fahrenheit or Fahrenheit to Celsius. The user is prompted to enter the choise of conversion (for example, enter 1 for Celsius; 2 for Fahrenheit) and prompted to enter the temperature value. Display the original temperatuer value and the converted value.

Celsius = 5*(F-32)/9

Why the extra step?

Instead of asking which, then entering a number like 76
Why not 76F 78C and the program does the conversion!
If the letter scale is missing, then prompt for which to convert to.

You may want to add Kelvin K as well, but then you'll need a source type to destination type!

76F = ?K
