We're looking for a talented young developer from Staffordshire, UK, to train in the art of software development. Background knowledge is an advantage, but not entirely necessary. You must be a quick learner, and show that you're dedicated to what you want to do, and more importantly, enjoy it!
You will also have good communication skills, as the role involves regular contact with our customers.
About Us
We mostly develop bespoke software for foundries, creating bespoke systems for production planning, cost estimation, etc. Big database applications which simplify data entry and data manipulation.
But that's not all! This job is very varied, bringing different tasks every day. We develop database driven web applications in PHP, which are hosted on our in-house Linux server. We also have a (small) focus on search engine optimisation, particularly in Google.
As our junior developer, you'll be maintaining our old systems, as well as working alongside me in developing brand new systems! You will also receive training directly from me, so you'll be in good hands.
