JSP: SQL Server Connection

Posted 05 October 2005 - 02:59 AM

connection problem appeared:

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP

An error occurred at line: 11 in the jsp file: /blog/registration.jsp
Generated servlet error:
C:\www\Tomcat 5.0\work\Catalina\localhost\_\org\apache\jsp\blog\registration_jsp.java:54: package com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver does not exist
DriverManager.registerDriver(new com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver());

we have already include in the classpath the location of sql server .jar files but the tomcat server seems it can't locate/read (whatever) the JBDC driver for SQL server.

Any help would be appreciated...thank you in advance.

I know it's a silly question (and I apologize), but I have to eliminate it first...you are using SQL Server as the database, right?
