Project iteas for proposal

Hi everyone.

Im a BS I.T. student 1st yr.

can somebody help me here?

My prof. gave us a proposal to do and dis will be submitted on Sept 25.

That proposal is a game.

and i dunno where to start T_T

can somebody tell me what to do and where to start?

i really need help and im running out of time.

You should have started a new thread for this, but since you posted here.....

Why don't you look up old arcade games, you could find some you enjoy and update them and change them up a bit.

staycrisp was right, you should have created a new topic. I removed your post from the request a tutorial section and created a new topic here for it.

Also if you are new to game programming starting with a puzzle type game, like Bejeweled or Alchemy, is always a good place to start.

Use SFML. It's a great 2D graphics library for C++.

There are a few components you need to know to make a game:
- State Management
- Entity Management
- Input Management

These would all be handled by the game engine.

You could check out a little project of mine for some reference.

I think that a SHMUP is an easy type of game to start off with. All it is made of is: movement and collision.
