Detect color hex value in Photoshop

Posted 18 September 2009 - 05:57 PM

I am working on a image for a web site and I need to use a color from another image, but I can't figure out its hex value so I can use paint brush. My question is, how can I detect a colors hex value from a picture with photoshop?

I'd use the eyedropper tool and click whatever colour you want, then click the foreground colour you selected, it'll bring up the colour palette, you should notice at the bottom the current hex value. I'm pretty sure it's possible using the 'info' tab in one of the boxes on the right of the screen too.
