Hiya people.

I want to Get a career in Web design, Im currently at college doing my English/Literature & maths, But this is over a period of 6 months, and after i do that, i can choose to do an IT course, but its very limited and not what i want. I want to do web design, but by the time i get into a college, sort all the paperwork out for the course, 2 years will have passed and ill still be in a ****ty job doing something i hate.

So i want to do web design at home and try and get some certificates for learning at my own pace.

I know w3schools do exam's and give you pass certificates, are there any more sites that so this?

Unlike other professions, certificates generally are not recognized because they really mean nothing.

You are judged by your portfolio.
