Building a video booth

Hi,
I am currently trying to build a video booth and all I think i need is a web cam a computer and video recording software,
also the user would just click a button to start reording and a stop button
or could use a touch screen,
I will need the software to do this... :) any ideas?

My church uses Sony Vegas. It comes with a video recording software, and all we have to do is hook the camera up via firewire. Sony Vegas also alows you to edit the video recording. It works really great for us. :^:

I have been evaluating a piece of software called RightBooth which allows you to turn your computer into a video booth or a photo booth, using a web cam.
The software works really well and compared to everything else I've seen it is very good value for money.
