First thing, uses frames, frames very bad, do NOT use frames, get something better.
Logo image has been optomised too much.
Not sure about the colour scheme.
The Java menu is iffy, but its fine.

1. If you're going to use a drop-shadow, can you make it a bit more subtle? Your shadow over-rides your text. :)

2. I agree about the frames. There aren't a lot of websites that actually *need* frames or can use them effectively. You can do better with tables, I think.

3. your DHTML is good and works well. It'd be nice if it was the same colour blue as the cell around it...

I agree that it's a good start. Keep working on it, and keep filling it up with good content. :)

the layout is boring, and everything is text. There's nothing that draws attention to anything. The actual pages dont' fit with the rest of the design you know what i mean?
