I have made my own installer and it will install the program to: C:/test app/test.exe
At the end of the setup i want an option for the user to create a desktop shortcut of test.exe, but i cant seem to find code or help online to help me achieve this. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced!

HAHAHA yea, sorry if i wasn't clear. I have made a custom installer all in java. It basically copy's all of the subfolders the script is in and then moves them to the desired locations and what not, but i cant figure out how to make java create a shortcut, all i can seem to do is physically make a copy! I was wondering if there was a way for java to make a shortcut of my .exe (which is also java -converted from jar to exe). If you want code, all i really have is the copy script, which i know you've seen a lot around here (mainly because i learned it from here almost a year ago when i was in java class)! If there is a way to make a shortcut, that would be perfect. but if i have to make two copies of the exe (one in the folder and one on the desktop) I'm sure i wouldn't be too bothered by it, but i would like to know the proper way of making a shortcut (if possible of course)
