Most other forums have this topic I think that maybe the Graphics Design forum could use it. Is there a specific effect that you are trying to achieve but just can't seem to do it? Is there a function of Adobe Photoshop that you just can't figure out? Or Fireworks? Or possibly even in GIMP?

Good idea 6of11.
I would like to see a tutorial that explains common sizes. I can't seem to scale my images correctly.

I'm not quite sure what you mean - would that be a conversion chart of pixels, inches, etc. and then common paper and icon sizes, or....
Could you please explain that? I would be happy to make that tutorial if only I knew what you were asking.

Yep - I do that kind of thing, so if anyone has any tutorials they want I'll be happy to write them. I know my way around Photoshop, Inkscape, Illustrator, and some others.

Gimp has some very handy effects, and can do some pretty good stuff... however, it crashes on me a lot. So, I was wondering if some one could write a tutorial on how to do the Gimp 'sparkle' effect in Photoshop cs4-cs5. Its one of my most favorite effects, and I love to use it a lot. It can blend in well with some other cool effects in Photoshop.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I am pretty good with Photoshop, but still always learning something new. I would love a tutorial on creating a post-apocalyptic Chicago with chunks taken out of buildings, shards of glass and broken windows everywhere, cracks in the streets, etc.
