Its definitely very widely used and by many people. C# as well.

Just peruse the career listing. .Net is popular, but to be successful with VB, it would help to also have ASP/SQL/MSAccess as well. VB alone is not sufficient.

You can use VB in many ways, such as making a program. Also, it is a little more user-friendly than other programs such as C++.
