Ok, I've noticed that most people (not everyone) doesn't know how to give a decient site-check.
I've decided to comeup with a html-form that will be easy to understand, with mandatory and optional fields.

So far I have (*optional,+checkee optional):
Color Scheme: 1-10

Athetics: 1-10

  Graphics
  +Content

open-ended questions:

Thats what I've came up with so far,
site-checkers, what do you normaly comment on, or think needs attention in site-checking
site-owners, whats the hardest part about webdesign, the easiest? what do you want to hear in a site check, what do you want specifically commented on in your site-check.

agreed, sorta, just kinda, put whatever comes to mind first and foremost, but if you cant think of anything at first, use the template.

I think site checkers sholuld go all out.....point out evrything wrong....write.....and suggest how to fix it...as seeing im a "site-owner" that is what i would be lookin for....i mean it shouldnt hurt n e ones feelings cuz its a site....not all ppl r good at it....thats what i think :)

i'm not sure a form is necessary for sitechecking; sometimes i just dont have time to point out everything right or wrong with a site, so i will go with the top 3 items and leave out the rest. i think it would be helpful to write a short article on how to effectively site check, as FK has done, and pin it to the top of the site check thread for all to read.

I don't think you got the main point of this thread...

This is for a new site, where the site-check board will be based in an html-form on the decided format.  With hopefully, enough flexability that site-checkers can freely express how they feel about the site, but the site-owner gets the info they wanted.

When a site-owner goes to setup a thread, he will fill out a quick form telling about the site, the link, and what info they want on the site-check form (fields normally not required)

The service would then compile all site-checks into an easy to read summary, including the site-checkers text as well as the number-ratings, to make averages.

Other ideas for the site include:
how long you have been signed up can determine vote weight.
the site check is the main part of the site, and the rest is based on it.  Thinkin of a newgrounds.com-forum style avatars, showing whether you normaly vote above the average or below, or maybe something else, i just liked that idea.

So now that you got the jist of it, lets see those comments! It's made to be user-friendly for the site-owners and checkers, so I'd like everyone's opinion.

Thats exactly what this is for.  People who can't design will learn that fast, or at least become better :D. ANYONE can output a good sitecheck with this system, and anyone can easily read the compiled reports.  Which will be nice quality. And if a persons review hurts thier feelings... well... they shouldn't have come in the first place, because the site is normally checked by more than one person, and they see the averages as most prominent. If the average of a handful or more of site-checks is still bad, they shouldn't be mad at anyone, but accept the inevitable... and build a new site :D.
