Alright so I'm planning on installing Linux on my Windows comp so I can dual boot.
Which distro should I use? The only one I have and real experience with is Ubuntu... but a professor that I'm a TA
for uses Fedora on one of her machines and it seems pretty cool.
Any suggestions? I'm not a hardcore linux guy... just looking for something fun to play around with and a decent
interface.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I'm not that much of a linux guy but what about Mint? I've heard it's good.
Besides that I would suggest Ubuntu just because most people I see who use linux use Ubuntu

Linux Mint is a port of Ubuntu. It's basically the same (mindless) thing.

Debian is fun to play with. I use Ubuntu on my production machine, and Debian on a desktop for the kids to play with.

I like Fedora's interface a lot, but have Ubuntu installed on my computer.
Download Sun's VirtualBox (free virtualization) then download tons of ISOs, and boot 'em up from VirtualBox to see which ones you like best

If you want to have fun with a linux and have some experience on terminal then i would suggest Sidux, but in this case either fedora or ubuntu, both easy to use.

I am running Mint right now. Mint is not a port, its based on Ubuntu. Get it right. It is awesomer than Ubuntu.
I would also suggest Arch. They have an extensive Wiki, and it is extremely customizable.
