Where to share file

Hello all :)

I am not sure if that is the right forum, but i just want to ask where can i store files on http server so i can download it. i think sourceforge.net have some but i am not sure. I want to be free because it is for my home project. if you can help me pls :).

I store my files at yahoo so I can download anywhere...or in your case try anything else like rapidshare but you need to pay for it.

I've used RipWay to upload temporary files that I've needed to move around, but it's probably not the best choice since half the stuff on there is phishing sites. Not the most trustworthy of sites.

Google has tons of free webhosting sites indexed. Check it out.

Sourceforge is great, but a requirement is that whatever you're uploading must be opensource.

I find Hotlinkfiles best because they provide direct link to the files(no waiting).

Also, they provide you with 1 GB space for a free account.

Windows Live SkyDrive is the way to go for files in the 50MB size limit. Been using for a while and can say that it is a really neat service. It is up all the time (at least when I need it) and it is pretty fast. Total space offered: 25GB.
