Zend Certification Pointers

Posted 21 October 2009 - 10:48 PM

Hi,

I am interested in getting a PHP 5 Zend Certification. Can someone give me pointers and guidelines on how will I prepare?

Can someone recommend me on what book will I be studying because there are tons and tons of PHP books to read for my review.

Thanks

See if you can find a PHP 5 Zend test dump around the internet.

I honestly don't think highly about certifications, though. If you are confident about your stuff, I wouldn't waste my money on a certification, but instead try to contribute with open source projects to get some experience.

Write code that will demonstrate your capabilities.

When you do find a test dump, just keep trying to answer them until you get a 100 percent.

My teacher mentions that all the time because he works for Zend...supposedly it is the PHP industry standard. Have you checked Zend's website to see what materials they have available? You might want to post this on the PHP board.
