It's basically a trait (along with a common user interface) that will be in all of our free software products. The first one is the registration of the software, which is completely optional, only shows once (unless you request the registration box from the about box) and asks for no personal information. The second is just the updater, which, whenever an update is available will pop up and give you the option of downloading Cedita.System (which is effectively a package manager that runs at startup, checks for updates at regular intervals and updates silently where available (unless it's a major update)) or just downloading the standalone update.
Anyway, the marketing "slide" below explains it more.. Anybody got thoughts for improvement, or think it's a good idea?
