Java 3D Tutorial

I'm looking for a recommendation for a Java 3D tutorial. I'm very comfortable with Java but a newbie to its 3D API.

The tutorial provided by Sun is not to my taste. It's introductory section talks for 20 pages about the internal data structures before getting to a Hello World program.

I've tried googling for others but everything I've turned up seems to be very old.

If you have any suggestions I'm grateful to hear them.

you may search the dreamincode tutorials or you target some 3D game development tutorial sites they contain a good work on java3D.

well i have a problem with the same. i have installed java3D but i am unable to use the packages javax.media.j3d,etc. i see all heder files in my JRE and JDK but the compiler doesnt still upport java3D classes
