Toughest Interview Questions

Posted 27 October 2009 - 03:04 PM

What's the toughest interview question you've ever had to answer?

I'm interviewing some people next week - I'd like to have one or two questions to stump them with.

Ask them open ended questions that gets them to talk and walk you through their thought process to solve a problem (the problem in and of itself doesn't necessarily have to be overly difficult or complex).

I agree with KYA. I had an interview with Microsoft and not only would they ask open ended questions once you solved the problem they would ask well if you coudln't do it this way how would you go about solving the problem? And then they asked non-computer questions about how high is Mount killmanjaro, and other ridiculous true fact questions you wouldn't expect would be in an interview.
