When I went to the "account manager" page and then clicked on top to go to the "support" page, it didn't take me to the support page and the navigation bar disappeared...

Otherwise it looks good :)

(btw, I'm using IE6 on a PC)

Ok this is what sucks, I redesign the site... then the signups stop coming in... maybe it's coincidental but I don't understand...

Gimme some more feedback... I know the new site looks a bit like dream.in.code, but I think ya'll are just seeing the similarity in navigation... but anyway... here is the old site:

and gimme more feedback on the new site, we haven't gotten one signup since I put the new site up and it's pissing me off cause this new design is MUCH better than the old one!

I think it's the squareness of the new site that a) makes it look like d.i.c. and b) differentiates it from the old site. You're right that it's a nicer design, but the old site is more...gimmicky, and more comfortable...and people like that. The grid of the new site is too well-defined...the lines and squares make it feel confined and stiff. I also think that the old might be more effective because the first thing on which my eyes fall is "ű.99 Hosting". In the second design my eye doesn't know where to look first, so it takes me longer to find things.

That's just my impression, others may disagree.

I agree with Klewlis, also, I think that this new site is too corporate looking. It might seems as if they are dealing with a big company that is unfriendly and doesn't care about them. I know that when I look for a host, they better be friendly, knowledgeable and easy to contact.  And cheap, but you can't change prices.  So, I would make it more friendly. Also, that grey gradient is horrid. Sorry.

And also, your navigation isn't working on my mac. It's going down to 2 rows so you can't go to the top rows boxes.

We don't target mac users :) and I've now changed the layout of the homepage a bit to draw attention to the prices... moving them from horizontal further down the page to vertical in the first screen length, I'm also about to put the price up at the top in that 'horrid' gradient where the special offer is now, I think that should help a bit.

1) the "e" in "Blue" and "z" in "zebra" overlap too much. i think the text becomes way too obscured and claustrophobic. i'm not even sure why it overlaps. also, the black dropshadow and the dark blue text just bleed together and look smudgy. maybe lighten the blue a bit?
2) i like the dropdown menu colors, but how about switching them up: use greay as the regular bgcolor and orange as the rollover color. grey just doesn't strike me as a "rollover" color. unusual, yes. familiar, no. and familiar is good for most Average Joes.
3)i think it would be more clear to change the menu item labeled "Webhosting" to "Hosting Plans" or "Plans", since that is what they are referred to as on the front page there.
4) the 3 major hosting plans' graphics are great. they work. maybe add "click for details" underneath each one or added into the graphics, so the don't just look like price quotes.
5) i like the graphic on the servers. maybe you could try putting in a screenshot of a site they host... it might get the message across better as to exactly what the customer can look forward to getting by signing up.

that's all i have the attention span to look for now. :) how this nitpicking helps.

how can you not target mac users?!?!? what's the difference in whos paying for hosting, long as they are paying? its not like they're selling pc cases or anything a mac user couldnt use..

Ok, that's cool, if they like losing money and having someone go somewhere else just cause your to lazy to fix the  navigation, go for it, no one should stop you.
