just saw it on live breaking news on CNN.

Looks like an accident, so far, but they won't confirm until an investigation has been completed.

I could see the smoke cloud from my flat, and it's bloody weird. My Dad works at Buncefield, and left for a delivery about an hour before the place went up. He's okay, but his car is dead.
Very strange.

Apparantly, it's because of a leak that they didn't have checked out a couple of weeks ago, but I'll have to ring my Dad and find out if that's true.

42 people are reported as being hurt, with one person still in Hospital, and one BP Tanker Driver missing.

I know. It was a silver Saab too. And it had two of my cuddly toys in it too, a Bagpuss and a little lamb called Lambie. :(

Looks like my wife's parents (in Hertfordshire, halfway between the blast and London) are OK and not having to inhale too much smoke.
