Need For Introduction Tutorials

Posted 04 November 2009 - 06:07 PM

Hello everybody. I am very new to this site and I have to say that I am impressed the amount of information available is amazing. However, I haven't seen certain things: Beginner tutorials. You see, I am as new as it gets to computer programming and I need as much help as possible. I took a look at the C++ tutorials and I am having a lot of problems understanding it. Not to mention the fact that I don't even know what program I should be writing these codes in. At least with HTML I understand exactly why I use certain tags to start and end commands. So is there any way that someone can create a tutorial for extremely new beginners to go off of? I would really appreciate it because I would like to have a good grasp on what I'm reading in the other tutorials. I'm looking for explanations of what loops are and other "jargon.' Please help me.

Thank you for your time,
Ryan Ponn
