I AM WORKING AS A SECRETARY BUT DAMN THIS RECESSION , MY JOB IS IN DANGER. I HAVE TO SAVE IN ANYHOW. I WANT TO IMPRESS MY BOSS BY SHOWING HIM THAT I AM MORE HELPFUL THAN HE THINKS. I WANT TO BUILD A PROGRAM WHERE I CAN LINK AN EMPLOYEE DATABASE WITH A DESKTOP ICON SO THAT MY BOSS CAN SEE ALL THE RECENT EMPLOYEE INFORMATION JUST BY A CLICK. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTOOD ME. I WANT TO BUILD A PROGRAM WHERE I CAN ENTER ALL THE EMPLOYEE DATA.......AND HE CAN JUST VIEW IT ON HIS DESK TOP. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME BUILD A PROGRAM WHICH LINKS THE EMPLOYEE DATABASE WITH A C PROGRAM........I NEED THIS JOB VERY BADLY. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND . FAST PLEASE.

If you need us to write the program for you, then apparently you aren't more helpful than your boss thinks. It seems your boss's view is correct. If you aren't a programmer, then don't make it your job to be one.

Also, I would fire you (out of a canon (into the sun)) for posting in all caps and in big font like that.

where will the program run from ?
where will the database be saved?
the format of the database?
what all data is to be saved?
we can help you get started and we will help with all the problems.
You will have to put in time and effort.
How fast do you need to make this stuff?
What knowledge do you already have?
answer all and it can be done.

Thanks a lot buddy.......and sorry for posting in caps . the program should run fromt he desk top. when he clicks he should be able to choose an employee name from a list.........when he clicks the employee name all his/her details should appear. the database , i am not sure but you help me.......could be made in excel ? all the data like employee leave, hire date etc. should be visible to him. i will put in all my time and effort. if this happens and if he gets impressed.........i have about 3 days.........please make it work for me. i have learnt c program but i have lost the knowledge due to out of practice. please help me god will bless you please
