Output custom audio

Post icon  Posted 10 November 2009 - 07:00 PM

Hello,
I want to build a synthesizer that can playback the sound of custom generated audio in "realtime" like a keyboard synth. I know i can do this in C++ with VST and similar, but i wanted to make a standalone application in C# can someone help?

I'm also a noob at creating waveforms, but that's another topic. Just being able to oupput a simple sine or square wave would work for now. If i knew how to get that done, i'm sure the rest would be a breeze.

can anyone help?
thanks
