I've worked on quite a few Joomla sites but I'm still sort of a beginner. This is the first site I've designed myself so I'd love any and all feedback because I'm sure there are a lot of ways it could look nicer and be coded better. Thanks in advance!

I have to say i really enjoyed the background. Also i really like your image scroller. I would however put some type of border around it to make it stand out more.
Some things i would change. I wouldn't use the default font for the menu. You should use more of a creative font. Also, you can barely see your hover effect on the menu, you may want to make it a little bit more visible. The other thing i don't like is the 3 column layout that you have for the content. I would switch to a 2 column layout and move the items from the left to the right column and that will focus on your content more.
Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for the feedback. I was considering a border for the slideshow also. And yeah, I'll see how the 2 column looks.
