Delphi

Posted 16 November 2009 - 11:06 AM

HI.

Does anyone have any references to any Delphi piping examples or something.
Also the same with threading.

What I ideally need is an ability to open 12 threads, each connect to their own pipe, and everyone open their own form based if something happens.

I could once do this in Borland C++.

Any help would be appricated.

Thanks.

I am also having problems with using a WCHAR I am storing in the registry.

As an addition, does anyone have any references to retrieving and saving a WCHAR?

I don't have any piping experience, but you may be able to find something at delphi.about.com. There should be plenty of threading examples online. Try checking out the BeginThread method or TThread class. I usually create an object that inherits from TThread and write all my thread code in its Execute method.

And there is a TRegistry class that you can use to access the registry.
