im in my second year of comp sci and for this semester we will be working on a project with a group. We could make preaty much anything we wanted to as long as it would take about a full semester to complete. I wanted to do an rpg statagy game or a fps but noooo...the rest of the people in my group did not want to do anything with AI so for the next 16 weeks i will be programming the board game clue. This sux. Basically i plan on doing the bare min the group askes me to do and on the side make my own game. unfortunatly this will be my 3rd major project i will be working on(i am also in robotics) so my social life(if there was one to begin with) is non-existant. This semester is going to blow.

btw i dont know if this is where i am supposed to post this so dont hate if i put it on the wrong board :)

i made a spaceship lander/bomber/refuel game w/mini map and stuff in Visual Basic back in high school. it was good fun. sprites, etc. simple, but fun.

minesweeper is also a fun one.

i mean, playing it was less fun than making it. then again, it was in visual basic. and its not exactly easy to get super complex in visual basic and be productive at the same time.

im sorry? are you looking for sympathy or something? these social life comments, as well, great, im sorry, get out, have a beer or something.
