Hi,
in my visual c++ application i need to convert any file or image into a fax formatted files like tiff file.so plz tell me how can do that,if directly open source is not avaialbe ,plz tell me 3rd party tool link......thanx for advance.

Well... general file conversion is non-trivial and I don't really think you will find a 1-size-fits-all solution in the world of open source. Perhaps in Enterprise Java or C# but I don't think so in the world of C++. You would probably do better to look for a vendor.
Do a google search for "file converter to TIFF" and see what pops up. You might add "C++" to that if you are looking for source code.
